Dry Eye Syndrome is a chronic lack of moisture (tears) in the eye. This syndrome can be very bothersome, but it can be treated. Any one of our highly educated doctors can do an examination to determine the diagnosis. To do this, a thin strip of filter paper is placed at the edge of the eye. The doctor will decide whether to treat your dry eyes with lubricant drops or tiny plugs that plug the tear ducts, to keep your tears from draining too quickly. This procedure is painless and is done in the doctor’s office. Don’t be irritated with dry, scratchy, burning eyes any longer.
